On January 15th, visual kei band Alice Nine sported traditional Japanese attire and headed off to Akagi Shrine in Kagurazaka, Tokyo to put on a live show.
Before the live, the members of Alice Nine prayed for the success of their new album “9“, wearing haoris and hakamas.
Hiroto commented, “My body became tense”. Shou said, “I was able to feel that I’m a Japanese man.” They stated that this was their Hatsumoude (first shrine visit of the New Year) as a band.
After praying, Alice Nine gave a special live performance at the shrine in front of 200 fans. The band performed 8 songs including their new single, “Niji no Yuki” and wrapped up with Shou shouting, “We’re going to go into 2012 at full speed, so please lend us your power!”
